«Bone by Bone, Hair by Hair» draws inspiration from Henrik Ibsen’s Peer Gynt, using the “mirror world” as its central image to explore a journey of self-discovery and identity.

Blending puppetry, motion capture, and virtual technology, the piece weaves together reality and fiction, reflecting how contemporary identities are projected and lost within digital realms.

The real and virtual puppets serve as metaphor of our digital identities—controlled behind the scenes by engineers, algorithms, and puppeteers. In this “mirror world,” a universe driven by desire, fantasy, and ideology, fiction is no longer a mere reflection of reality, but a deeper projection of longing and self-deception.
